I love long bus rides. Especially bus rides along the town area or car rides in those english angmoh countries. There's a lot to see. Everyday you're seeing different things and it's always interesting. Besides, those people on the streets you saw, you're only going to see them once. So it's always something new everyday. Perhaps if you smile to those people at the bus stops, you'll get a smile back. I think I tried that before. Can't remember though. HAHA. Definitely don't try that to older Singaporeans. They'll scold you like you're some mad woman on the loose. haha. Therefore, it is obvious that I like to sit at the windows side if not how can i look out of the bus/car? However, I have motion sickness so yeah i can't tahan bus rides/ boat rides which take hours or even lesser time and can't read on buses/cars. I remembered taking motion sickness pills when the bus ride to Taman Negara took hours.
Today's ride to school was rather interesting. Once again, i think every tuesday, I'll see the old lady who is wheelchair bound will board bus 64 with the help of her maid.( I'll only see them when i board the 11.45am bus. So today's the second time i saw them.) Nevertheless, the bus driver will get out of his seat and pull out the ramp for the old lady to board. Onlookers, who are curious, will look out of the exit door. This time round, the bus driver was different from the one two weeks ago ( i think). That's the first interesting thing.
At the bus stop in river valley came boarding a Indian Family. From what I saw, they're tourists. They flagged for bus 64 and was standing in front of the exit door waiting for the door to open and alight. The father was wondering why the door wasn't openning and he turned his face up from the ground and looked up. One lady sitting near the door in the bus pointed to the family to board at the front. Then, they walked to the entrance while everyone waited for them. The whole family walked into the bus while the father looked kinda snobbish without paying. lol. (from what i obvious can. not racist or anything). The driver asked for the father to pay but obviously the family didn't know we have to pay for our bus rides. The father then asked for the amount and got it from his wife coins(if i'm not wrong) to pay for the fares since he doesn't not have small change. Interesting fact number two today. haha. Yeah some countries need not pay for their bus rides. When i went to perth, my auntie(godmother) said they need not pay. COOL. if only singapore is like that. LOL. in my dreams.HAHA
When I alighted at The Arcarde's bus stop in Little India, I saw two angmoh couples. One couple was standing at the bus stop while the other away from the bus stop. At the turn at The Verge, there came a Hippo bus who was traveling along the road at little india. Both couples turned and looked at the Hippo Bus with smiles on their faces and chatted something to their partners. I think they're thinking of taking a ride in the Hippo Bus. So both decided to set off from where they are(i think they had been standing there for quite a while deciding on their next destination). The couple at the bus stop decided to head to the direction where the Hippo bus is heading to while the other couple turned and walked towards the direction where the Hippo bus came from. After a few mins, the couple who went to the direction where the Hippo Bus headed turned back and walked to the direction where it came from. Interesting tourists (: That's the third one.
Also at the bus stop, there was one a little mentally disabled indian man who walked passed the bus stop. He was talking loudly about something when he walked passed the two angmoh couples. Both were looking at him curiously. I think they seldom have this in their countries. The expressions on the couple face at the bus stop makes me want to smile. The guy looked kind of shock. Maybe they didn't expect to see this in singapore, a country who is developed. Fourth thing i saw today. Interesting for a person like me. I wonder what i'll see tmr in my bus rides. Anyway, that's one of the thing i look forward everyday for school. LOL. Another one is friends. haha.
I know my post is already very long but i still want to make it longer. HAHA! Once again, I shall emphasize that I like my post to be long cause I have lots to say. If there's any post which is short, it means i'm tried, am busy to type or i don't feel like blogging. However, usually even if there's things on my hands to do, i'll still post. HAHA. That's because i feel like posting especially when i am busy. HAHA.
Three yeah for today! Firstly, i deposited a few ten dollars into my pathetic bank account. Don't curse me to withdraw money hor. Secondly, I had a two hours nap! WOOHOO! shiok ar i tell you. HAHA. Afternoon naps are just so like secondary sch days when I reach home from sch or after hanging out with friends. Just like the good old days man. HAHA. Lastly, I might have dinner with dad tmr. I guessed that he'll ask me if I've eaten the round round chicken rice. haha. dad's always like that. When i said i wanted to buy smth, he'll ask me if i've bought it if not usually he'll buy it for me. HAHA (: Best dad hor! So i told him I didn't manage to get the chicken rice last fri so he told me if he's free tmr after work, he'll bring me go there eat! YEAH!!!!! HAHA! I'm happy okay. Pray that dad will be free tmr so i can have dinner there. HAHA! YES! I miss the soup man! nice <33
